This guide gives a basic overview of Think Tanks and Grey Literature.

 

What are Think Tanks?

"Think tank[s]...[are groups] organized for interdisciplinary research with the objective of providing advice on a diverse range of policy issues and products through the use of specialized knowledge and the activation of networks." (Ladi, 2015).

In other words, Think Tanks are formulated groups consisting of scholars and experts that weigh in on certain issues that affect policy. They're all about IDEAS.
